Priorities

As an elected council member, my top priority will always be to move Mesa forward. This includes making progress in the downtown area to bring in businesses, eliminate the eyesores of vacant lots and buildings, work to balance the budget, and keep roads safe and clean. Those items will always be a priority and I will work hard to make sure they stay a priority for our city. In addition to those areas, my three largest priorities will always be the safety of our community, working to keep a strong school system, and promoting tourism within our city. Leadership matters now more then ever and together we can and will continue to MOVE MESA FORWARD.

Tourism

Neighborhoods school tourism
The safety and well being of our neighborhoods are a priority. We must make sure that are children feel safe, and we feel safe, within our own homes and parks. I will fight to ensure our law enforcement and firefighters have the tools they need to get the job done. Our schools are vital to a growing community. I will make sure the city and schools work together to keep our children safe and have the recreation programs they need to not only learn the book work but also learn to work together and accomplish goals. Mesa needs tourism. It supports our local businesses and provides vital funding to our general fund. It’s critical we work with our partners to promote events within Mesa to help bring people into our city. We’ve improved a lot in recent years but we must not lose sight of how important this is.
